A Word from Joan
The scriptures teach us that our Father delights to see His children rejoicing in Him – leaping, clapping, shouting – as well as bowing down and kneeling in humble adoration before our God. A variety of these expressions of worship and praise are reflected in the many choreographic styles used throughout The Play. You will see dancers displaying their passionate love for Him in the worship of the angels at the birth of our Savior in Bethlehem, the unrestrained jubilation as they dance in community at the Cana Wedding in Galilee, the triumphant dance of the processing tribes as they enter Jerusalem for the Passover Feast, and the finale’s exuberant celebration for the soon coming return of our King. On every occasion, dancers are responding to the wondrous presence of The Holy One of Israel in their lives with an extraordinary release of the Holy Spirit.
